Your generous energy permeates the cottage - from the meticulous lighting to your well-equipped kitchen and all the other joys that everyone has already mentioned - the STEAM SHOWER (ahhhh), the HOT TUB (double ahhhh), THE COZY FIREPLACE ..... Thank you for a wonderful stay at "The Gift". We are so sad to be leaving, we loved it so much we hardly left the house! We even chose to stay in for New Year's because we felt so cozy and happy here. We enjoyed all the wonderful amenities including the hot tub, fireplace, surround sound and TV hookup. Our dog Rowdy also had a fantastic time running around in the woods and he even fought his normally timid spirit and ventured to cross the babbling brook.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!! We had such an amazing and relaxing Thanksgiving, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City. This cottage is GORGEOUS and we loved all the amenities - we truly felt as though we hit the jackpot! We took advantage of the cozy wood-burning fireplace, the hot tub and its gorgeous natural surroundings and the babbling brook truly set the backdrop for a wonderful and perfect escape.

The Carriage House

Thanks you SO MUCH for letting us stay in your beautiful Carriage House. It was a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. The weather was perfect, Oriole 9 was fantastic for brunch as was Cucina for dinner. It was an amazing New Year's. Thanks for providing such a wonderful space.

We had a wonderful time. It was just perfect for two couples. We saw Steven Sills at the Bearsville Theater and then the next night we went to Levon Helm's Ramble.

The charm and great amenities in the home are wonderful - the HOT TUB, FIREPLACE, STEAM ROOM - along with the proximity to town makes this an amazing retreat! We had a great time.

We stayed at the Deck House in Woodstock over New Year's weekend with friends and had a wonderful time. The home is lovely and well-appointed, with really enjoyable amenities (such as the hot tub and gas fireplace). The beds were comfortable and everything was provided for us (towels, linens, cookware...even soap and shampoo). The detailed touches around the house, excellent location (steps from Woodstock's central business district with cafes, restaurants, and shopping), and responsive, hospitable owners really make this rental a standout. You will not be disappointed!

I had an amazing, perfect weekend while staying at "The Promise". The location was awesome -

walking distance to Woodstock's best restaurants, shops, galleries, bars and music venues.

It was also an easy walk to hike in the woods and be in nature. In terms of the house, we felt like there was no detail left unturned. From the decor to the place mats and kitchenware, everything was beautiful and brand new. The house was so comfortable, cozy and private and had a cute deck - perfect for a sunrise breakfast. The steam shower was wonderful... We spent some lovely evenings in front of the fireplace with wine and cheese. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you!

This was a wonderful place to stay for our weekend. The location and the facilities can't be beat - we made a lovely breakfast in the kitchen on our last morning here. We thoroughly enjoyed our annual pilgrimage to the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary and even caught a concert in Phoenicia. Marvelous stuff all around. We'll definitely be back on our next trip. All the best!

We had the best October weather you could hope for - gave us lots of time to walk around town, hike to Overlook and explore the area. Love dinner at The Bear and sitting by the stream for our 30th anniversary.

The Penthouse was so comfy, very nicely done with all the things we needed. Love the slippers..nice touch.
